I am starting to chase the draw that causes my battery to go dead after sitting for about a week. I have approximately a 0.6 A draw on the battery with the vehicle sitting and doors closed. I checked fuses and I have the following. Radio drawing about 0.4, alarm fuse drawing about 0.1A and the dome light circuit drawing about 0.1. I am pretty sure it's the aftermarket stereo that is doing it, but a 0.4 to 0.5 amp draw doesn't seem like it should be enough to waste the battery. Battery is a brand new Interstate grp 27f. I'm most curious about the constant 0.1 thats on the dome lamp circuit. Does the dimmer module draw constantly or is there something else on that circuit? It seems with the doors closed there would not be any draw at all.

Also while poking around at things I found this melted mystery connector next to the left fog light. What is supposed to be on this?

A typical draw is about 20 mA (milliamps). A radio drawing 0.5 A is a lot.

Mine runs down after sitting for 2 weeks, I just put a battery tender on it.
