Battery box - V8 conversion (1 Viewer)

Anyone got any ideas, pictures, etc on underhood battery mounting, position, location for a '76 FJ-40 Chevy V8 conversion?

Sorry if its been asked before and I didnt find it.

Edited to add: Are you using duals because you want more CCA's (it appears to be wired that way) or do the batts have seperate purposes? I dont know the capabilies of the 'Optima' batteries.

I was going to post my two MAF trays, but my FJ40 engine compartment pales in comparison to Ken's. So just refer to his pic.

BTW, he must not have to work on it much. Braided radiator and heater hoses are a hot bitch on bare skin. BTDT.

Those are nice but absolute nuts to pay that much of a couple of pieces of angle iron and an hour of your time.

a BJ40 battery mount fits perfectly right behind the passenger side headlight and works great.
if you could find a used one ?

the red one went bad so i put a deep cycle one in for the lights and wench
