good afternoon, my name is JP. I bought a 94 Prado in Japan had it in Hawaii for 3 years no worries, recently moved to the east coast and now isn’t start. Tried jumping it no joy. Does anyone know the correct battery configuration/size? It’s set up in parallel. Seen some conflicting information on different forums and before I go out and spend a ton on batteries just want to make sure I’m getting the right set up. Thank you in advance!

I'm in a similar situation with both batteries dead in my 93. From my research so far the biggest factors for buying new batteries are that your Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) should match or exceed what you currently have installed (likely 650 CCA at least). The second factor is battery dimensions and third would be post orientation as a Standard or Reverse option. My current batteries were from 2019 🤯 and of course I can't find the same ACDelco brand and type 90D26R anywhere after looking all day. I see a lot of different batteries in Groups 24-124 that all have similar dimensions that will fit my carriages so I was looking here to figure out what people are using and if I could use a Duracell 710 CCA Group 124 from Batteries Plus for example which has a 48 month warranty, twice that of the batteries for comparable prices at O'Reilly (24 month) and AutoZone (18 mo).
