I am alway amazed at the return on investment in the FJ40 and FJ45.

Never watched one of these before. Interesting. Are most buyers collectors or flippers? Lots of dough needed to play there. But the $80k for the 2014 FJ cruiser seems… <deleted>

My theory since a BJ43 restored by T7 sold for 114k€ (+fees) at Artcurial auction a few years ago :
It was sold between a vintage Ferrari and a vintage Aston Martin, most cars in these auctions exchange for 10 to 100 times the price for an overpaid 40. Who ever bought it probably bought a Ferrari before that was slightly cheaper than expected and with the change money bought the 40 because it looks cool.

Interesting didn't realize the FJ45 pickups were gaining that much in popularity. Guess it makes a great accessory to the over priced FJ40 they bought in the past.
