I wouldn't buy the utility version of the Baja Rack until they have this figured out. If you want to stick with Baja then buy their normal basket rack or go look at Front Runner or Ezi Awns rack. Just my 2 cents.

I'm after their basket style and John(BajaRack) has been great to deal with, so far. They promised to fabricate special brackets, (they did it already for dtt255) so my rack sits less than 7" from the roof top, and hence am able to park my LC in the garage.
I'm sure they will sort out your issue too ! Keep us posted .. Good luck

I've only had one parking garage in my time having the LC that was under 7'...it was 6'10 and I had to find other parking.
