hi ya'll.

the other day while driving home from sedona. htltopper and felt an unusual vibration that feels like a low speed wobble coming from my 94 fj 80- 165K. it radiates thru the shifter and is felt easily in the seat backs. at first we thought it was a loose or disinigrating u joint. but, after further inspection of the drive shaft that doesn't seem to be the problem. then we thought it was a loose bracket on the exhaust. but, that ruled out as well. i started simple and checked all the tires for tightness and balance per andy's suggestion.- also not the problem. we feel this wobble when the cruiser gets to 30 mph or better. no change in the vibration in other gears or with the differentials engaged. any suggestions??? i'm driving a 16,000 vibrator and my teeth are starting to hurt. thanks for the help. victor

Did you wheel in mud/deep sand? If so check your wheels and brake rotors for dirt. Also, did you air down a lot? If so you could have spun a tire on the rim and your tires can be our of balance.

Check your steering arms to see if they are still tight. Check wheel bearings tightness.

thanks

i'll go check the steering control arms.. thanks christo
