If I turn the A/C on in my '94 and let it idle, it'll start decreasing RPM until it starts bouncing the RPM and vacuum (like someone's tapping the gas pedal) until it surges back to about 1500RPM, slows down, then does it again. Here's what I mean:
This is with the engine warmed up, in park, A/C on (lowest fan setting), and not touching anything. The strange part is that it surges like it knows it's about to die! I understand the IAC valve controls idle speed, so that's my first guess, but I'd hate to dive into something that's working normally. It also stumbles a little when the A/C isn't on, but it's not as pronounced and doesn't die.
I also recently replaced both of my O2 sensors with Denso ones. On a '94 I thought the sensors just provide fuel trimming and wouldn't affect the fuel flow enough to kill it, but I'm no genius.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
