What about bending some 1/4" plate to have a factory look?

Sorry man - I get bored and start rooting around in the older threads, and then find these gems.
I recall that you have an SOA blue 55 with a mostly Chevy drivetrain. I think I have some pics of that one from the Craigslist add before you picked it up.
