So I jumped on this deal and bought 5 rims and had tires put on.
I threw one on the lx450 today and off course the OEM lugs nuts doest fit the holes in these rims, but what was even worse was that it looked like these rims very very close to the calipers!
What is the backspacing suppose to be for OEM rims?
These summit rims are 4 inches.

Will they fit or do I have to buy a set of spacers now!?

And I guess I need to buy some new lug nuts as well!
Will these fit that rim ?

IIRC it's 4.5"bs

4.5 is stock if its close to the calipers and doesnt touch u r ok, having 4 inch bs already means it will stick out further then stock already, if it doesnt fit with out a spacer id buy diff rims, my 17s r bs to 4.25 and clear the calipr fine , they r eagle alloys with the machine lip on them

Ok. It is just a hassle since my tires are already on the rims. The easy solution would be the spacers, but I guess I can sell the rims and redo it. Just costs more

as long as they dont touch the calipers u will be ok some steels dont fit some do... u need a acorn style nut for steel rim also a oem 93 or 94 r the lugs u want

Acorn-is that the same as conical 60 degrees?
Thats what the Summit site says for those rims.

I believe you need something like this for lugs. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-754001B/

IMO, the backspacing isnt the issue... Its just that the wheels have a very low angle from the mounting studs. I bought similar wheels from summit (D window) and the pressed D's contact the caliper as well... I think my only solution would be spacers?

I've seen a few guys here on the forum with the Procomp wheels with 4" BS with no issues. Maybe a few will chime in.

Must be the design then. I can swear they touch the calipers, I am afraid to try it out.

Can I spin the tire while on the jack, if a am in neutral?
