Backfire near headers won’t start (1 Viewer)

Hi need some help Then driving along fine and I heard a backfire near where the headers are and I’ll attach a picture smoke coming out of small pipe ? Not shure which way to go . It will turn turn over but it won’t stay started?

That open pipe needs to be plugged with something. It’s a gigantic vacuum leak into the manifold. No way the engine can run with that thing open. The EGR valve used to connect to it.
