Not to exciting, battery fits no prblem, now I need to figure out a way to hold it in place, it is shorter in height and narrowerin width. It ius currently rigged with blocks of wood and the old bracket.
 
Sounds like a "Beonese" battery install :D

If I recall, he stated, you can use the wood blocks for kindling ;)

You're tarnishing my image. :mad: To add fuel to the fire ( hee hee hee ) my wood block was shifting after high speed runs on washboard surfaces. I took two sheetrock screws and screwed them through the two tiny holes in the bottom edge of the Optima and into the wood block. No more block shifting. :D

Couldn't resist! :D....... and just think now you cary and extra set of screws 8) to go along with the kindiling.
