B and 3B engine (1 Viewer)

Cheers my cyber friends, some questions for the experts.
Have. 1983 B engine. are the fuel, oil and air filter the same for B and 3B engines? How about the drive belts? Seems that auto parts carry more items (for obvious reasons) for the 3B engine, so I am doing my homework to see what can I use from the 3B to the B.
Part numbers for filters and belts would be appreciated.
And last, in case I need injectors on the future where can I get them?

Basically - Your question can't be answered..

A great deal depends on "year of manufacture" with both the B and 3B evolving significantly over the years.

And if you take the air cleaner question for instance, that will even differ between a BJ40 and a Dyna for the very same year & month of production.

And whether or not power steering is present may affect the vee belt selection etc etc.

2b and 3B share quite a few parts but the B is the precursor to those motors the B does over lap for a few years and one would assume they share some of their parts like filters and some gaskets......belts I'm not sure what year is your block.....AC PS or just an Alt.
Injectors would be different on their settings you can have yours rebuilt at any diesel shop that has Denso parts.
