It is a Toyota part. But CDL switch was never installed in U.S. made Landcruiser but the wiring (plug) is there for it and it is widely used/added by many Landcruiser 80 series owners. Here is a link for more details. Or are you just making sure that this is a Toyota part?

CDL Mod on 97 FZJ80

I have read a bit about the CDL mod, but I´m not clear yet.... As in older model the 97 does not have a CDL switch, so I guess the mod is about adding a CDL. I plan to use my LC for daily use as well as lite trail and overlanding... So I have a couple of questions. Why do the CDL mod>...
