Welcome.

What size nuts are on the studs that retain the differential into the axle housing?

Do you have any pictures of your front axle?

disc or drum

The companion flange on that differential would indicate that it is a 1968-1974, however, being that those are pretty easy to swap I would not go off of that alone.

The 10mm studs/14mm nuts retaining the differential housing to the axle housing indicate that it is post 1968 and later, as the 1967 and earlier had 8mm studs and 12mm nuts.

If you can post up a picture of the wheel cylinder plumbing, we might be able to narrow it down a bit more.

Man a fre still has those disc conversions? I was not aware that they were still peddling those things.

Huh, there they are; http://man-a-fre.com/parts_accessories/FrontDiscBrakeConversionKits.htm

43512-FT40KITN is the kit you will likely want.

where are you located, Werner ?

I have a used front axle Man-a-Fre conversion kit that I would be willing to sell . . .
