Hate the pressed rear wheel bearings. Has anyone replaced the rear axle with an 80 series axle?

Width and bolt pattern are different. But if you really hate pressed bearings, width and bolt pattern can be changed. It's just a matter of money.

I need no special tools to change bearings and seals, just hand tools and parts.

I think the width difference is something like 4-5" shorter on the 80 axle meaning you'd have to run a lot of spacer width to match up which makes it not worth it to me. If you can't do the replacement yourself, find a shop to do it. Even with that inflated cost, you can likely not worry about them again and save the cost of getting another axle and swapping it to 5-lug.

You may need to invest in a pipe if you don't have one already. The rest are just hand tools.
