Rebuilding front axle completely on my FJ40. Wanting to upgrade to v6 calipers and rotors ( installing backing plate eliminators).

Already have Fj80 master installed. Brakes work great but I would like to upgrade calipers to balance out large bore Monte Carlo calipers on the rear.

The parts I plan to order are:

1995 4Runner calipers
1980 Land Cruiser vented rotors

Is that the best possible combo for bolt on stopping power (larger piston size) for my land cruiser?

If there is a better combo please let me know. Thanks!

Longer flexible hose to connect direct to the caliper
It is possible you will need to grind the ribs on the caliper for clearence with the wheel

On side note , aisin locking hubs and chromo birf and axles if you have front locker and 33" or larger tires
