While working on the piggy, I noticed that there was some paint pen on the drive flange on the rear axle(smells like junkyard) Then I noticed that the spring over perches were already welded on both front and rear.(currently S/U) So I was thinking that maybe these axles were taken out of a junkyard SOA rig and put on my rig. Question is, how to tell what axle it is? Is there a little number somewhere that I could find, or a way to peek inside without tearing the birfs apart? Build date is feb 69 and searching didn't reveal much on this subject.
