My idiot self put the rear axle breather back in without putting the brake block on first. Now it's stuck! Any ideas? Thanks!

I can't unthread it. It spins but doesn't go anywhere.

soudns stripped...vise grips, pull and spin at the same time, then run a tap through there to restore the threads.

Put a vise grip on it level with the axle, but 90 degrees away. Stick a large flat blade screwdriver between the vise grip and the axle housing so that the vise grip will ride up the tip of the screwdriver as it is rotating. the 'ramp' action should help the breather get back on track.
