Life changes no matter what stage we are in, when you think things are stable, change happens.

i didn’t select the pics but I might take some more of the shop after I clean it up today. Crushing to have set up such a nice property with a bitchen shop to pass on to someone else. Yet, thankful the shop could be used to put my 80 back on the road and into a new members hands.

Apparently, the showing during the work being done in the shop Saturday, swapping the rear axle of my old 80, impressed the family that they threw an offer at us. Thanks for showing the capabilities, how to enjoy the property on a beautiful NC day, giving these prospective buyers what they needed to see and visualize what I did just a couple years ago. I hope they will enjoy it as much as I have over these 2 years...

I did get some pics of the shop being well used getting my old 80’s rear axle swapped with the E-locker and re-geared/rebuilt axle. Eric led the team and got it done, a bit later than expected.

The exit, laying a nice burnout when dropped into gear, ready GTFO onto new adventures...

Update...the property is scheduled to close 2/4, leaving this chapter behind. New path engaged, closed yesterday, peaceful sleep after a long day, beautiful morning walk, knuckleheads settling into their new space, keeping tight watch on each other. It’s going to be some serious adjustments, pretty hard to complain regardless...

We are walking distance enough to shake the sand off before getting back home. So much of me wanted to be right on the beach until I came to understand that very few full timers live there, virtually all vacation rentals. I need to become part of a community, isolation is over for me. I grew up near Santa Cruz CA, moved there as soon as I could, both my girls were born there so, I’m a beach rat at heart...
