Hey all, I just bought a 2000 Land Cruiser and I'm over the moon about finally being able to get one. I'd been doing research and after about a month of searching, I finally found one that was in pretty good condition and it was actually pretty close too.
Anyways, I've seen the 2001+ Land Cruisers and all of the LXs came with automatic windows on all windows, but the 98-00 has automatic only for the driver window. I did some searching before and only found a thread that was inconclusive and from 2005. The thread says that LX master window switches use a different harness and plug, something along the lines of 10 or 11 wires, while the LC only has a 5 wire harness and plug. I was wondering if anyone has the ability to check if master window switches from a 2001+ would work in a 2000. If not, I'll try to see if I can buy one from a part out not too far away from me, and see if I can get one and test myself.
