Auto Door lock and alarm (1 Viewer)

I own a 2001 Land Cruiser down in Honduras. On a number of occasions now (and late at night of course), the alarm has gone off unexpectedly when the vehicle is locked. And not sure if it's related, but the door lock button works fine all the time, but now, more frequently, it won't lock with the key fob.
Anyone experienced this problem? Is it an issue with an activator receiver or something?

Search for door actuator motors. They start to fail and cause all sorts of funny door issues. I heard my alarm for the first time when I had the passenger door actuator out, locked the truck and then opened the passenger door. The actuator assemblies are $$$, but you can get the motors for all 5 locks off of eBay for $25.

OK. I did order 5 motors to replace in all the doors, but because the key fob opens the doors OK every time, and with the alarm issue, I was worried there might be another issue, like something with whatever the receiver unit is.
