Well
Bittersweet announcement
I managed to buy a house in Austin = great!
But my beloved LX seems to have s*** a head gasket = terrible...

I'm going to try to keep this post brief.

Background and what i have done to the truck:
I am the second owner
I purchased the truck in Sept, 2018 with 295,000 miles (currently has 338,xxx)
No salt life, only lived in Los Angeles area and Houston/Austin
Maint items: (i have most receipts)
* sent injectors off to be cleaned and refurbished
* ignition coils
* spark plugs
* o2 sensors
* heater T's and hoses
* sway bar bushings
* SPC upper control arms and ball joints
* upper and lower rear control arms (factory Toyota)
* lower ball joints
* wheel bearings
* inner and outer tie rods
* brake pads
* flushed all fluids
* Falken wildpeak AT3W 285/75/r18's

Additions:
* japan 4x4 AHC spacers
* diy welded light bar with two hella rallye 4000's
* full aluminum overland style roof rack
* swing out spare tire carrier with tundra steelie and BFG ko3 (pretty used up)

Truck was solid as hell. The head gasket thing seems to have come out of nowhere (confirmed with combustion gas leak block tester). Everything else works on the truck and it still runs and drives.
Aesthetics are what i call desert sled chic. Small scratches and the like. I used the truck for exploring. Lots of it.

If not for the house purchase i would hunt down a used vvt 2uz and swap it out. But the universe has spoken. I have no idea what to ask for this. If anyone in Austin area wants to come take a look please do.

Thanks!

I can be there tomorrow with trailer. PMing you.

Despite the loss, as of yesterday 8thwonder was closing a deal with a nearby Austin MUD member. We might see the LX here again - revitalized and healthy again. :)

Whoever bought it- if you're not a fan of the rallye 4000s I'm localish (in SA) and could swing by and buy them off ya.
