It's almost time for our monthly meeting!
This month we are going to have a blast, it should be warm, we still have late sunsets and it doesn't look like our meeting spots are flooding!
This month we will highlight 40 series Land Cruisers. So change the oil in that old 1F engine and air up those weathered tires and get that 40 out to the meeting. The weather should be awesome and warm, perfect for those not running a hard top! We will discuss the pro's and con's of the legendary 40 series. If you have a 45/43/47... you win. Bring it. We will ask the 40 owners...
Our workshop for the night is 40 related... "How to start up a Toyota that hasn't run in years!" Maybe you'll score that barn find 55 you have been after or you'll inherit an old friends Cruiser that hasn't started in a decade. We are going to cover some practical ways to prep a vehicle before restarting it after a long sitting.
Details:
What: 406 Cruiser Meeting, 40's night, and how to bring a dead vehicle back to life.
When: Tuesday August 9th at 7pm
Where: The little park where we used to have the Annual BBQ. It is in a residential neighborhood between Story Mill Park and The "M". Please drive the speed limit and be observant of the new stop sign. Let's represent the club well. Take Bridger Canyon Dr to Creekwood Dr. turn north, park in the cul-de-sac. Let's try to leave space for the 40's all in a row (closest to the burned down pavilion).
Who: YOU and any other Toyota enthusiasts.
What to bring: Camp chair and since we are next to the creek, maybe some bug spray?
For the meeting we will cover the following:
Some of the Annual BBQ meeting details.
Goose Lake Trip (the following weekend).
Vote in any new members
Give general updates on the Club business
Any new business that YOU want to bring up
Looking forward to it! See ya there.

- 40 series highlights... what makes them awesome? Legendary reliability, wheelbase, quality rust-free sheet metal, solid axles ect.
- Your favorite 3 mods.
- The first 3 mods you'd recommend for a new 40 owner
- Things to watch out for when buying an 40
- The best years to look for when buying
- Why you chose the 40 series over other models.
