Overview
I spent a good amount of time searching out a rust free FJC that I could keep in a second location as my summertime overlander. I found and bought it, but unfortunately my summertime escape plans have been Chernoybled. Since this is my 3rd vehicle and I need to buy a sedan to make sales calls with, the FJ has to find a new driveway.

This is a rust free California truck that I bought from the original owner last September. I flew out to Southern Cali and drove it home. He took delivery of it in April 06, apparently it was one of the first 1,000 off the boat. He built it up and added a lot of nice quality upgrades spending roughly $20k in building it (in 2007 money). The truck had been driven very little between 2013-2019 which is why the miles are reasonably low. The truck was used for its intended purpose, PO ventured around in Baja and around Borego area. There's some pin striping, some nicks & scratches, couple door dings, and one small dent in the rear upper hatch. Ive spent some time doing paint correction and It does pass the 10 foot test and shows nicely.

Having every intention of keeping it, I dove into an extensive baseline service and including replacement of all key suspension components. I took my time going through it using Toyota or high quality parts and spending a little over $5300 in just the parts to get it where it is today.

Here's what I've done since purchasing it last September starting at mileage: 114,288 (current is 115,803)
Parts spend to date: $5300 (receipts available) My service detail is attached a few posts down.

Clear Title, no accident history. I am the second owner. *Note: First owner re-titled to his business, so CarFax would effectively show 3 owners now. The paint has some pin striping, some minor scratches from previous owners adventures. There are some door dings and a small dent in the rear hatch. Full Disclosure: the inner fender bulge was present on both inner fenders and there was some minor cracking. I removed the outer fenders to get access to the inner fenderwells, stop drilled the cracks and then reinforced and sandwiched the area with Eastwood panel bonding adhesive, 18-20ga aluminum sheet and 3/16th rivets. The result has been successful. The rock rails have some scrapes and the under body protection is in good shape. Interior is clean. The truck runs strong and drives great. Overall mechanically its 9/10 and cosmetically 7/10.

CL Price is listed at: $21,900 MUD Price is $20,900
Full price offer gets free delivery with in 250 miles, C02 PowerTank. ($500 value), ARB Recovery kit, HighLift, and some other parts & goodies.
