ATF fluid swap to Amsoil (1 Viewer)

FWIW,

I decided to do a full on ATF fluid swap to Amsoil. My rig is now fully Synthetic in the fluids department. The fluid swap used up about 4.5 gallons of ATF! $65 for the man to do the job and I am stylin. It could be me but I would swear that the truck is even quieter than before. At 65 you can't hear any engine or drive train noise. Shifting is smooth as silk and down shifts are nice and solid.

I am sold on synthetics and the potential benefits from their use.

Congrats and good on you for using synthetic ATF. I did the same thing with mine and flushed it myself through the cooler lines. Filled it up with Mobil ATF Synthetic and it is smoooooottthhhh.

Just about right. 4.5 gallons is equivalent to 18 quarts. I flushed and filled mine with 17.5 quarts.
