Awesome find. I had an 82 for a number of years and loved it. Rode like a tank but damn would go anywhere.

You gotta figure out a way to use those wheels. They look killer! Good job on getting the truck running. I had an old varnished gas experience last night as well with my old Kawasaki KDX 200. What I thought would be a quick blast around the block morphed into a PITA fuel system rehab. Bike is torn down and my shop looks like the damn thing just exploded. Parts everywhere.

Thanks! Yeah I’m really digging the wheels as well. I’ve been reading a bunch and they will work with a set of 1 1/2” spacers. Just gotta try and find a set cheap, I have a hard time spending $250 on spacers for this truck LOL

I bought a set of USA made 1.5” spacers for our 40 for like $150 a couple years ago, if I can figure out where I got them I’ll let you know, somewhere online.

$100/4 on amazon. Unless you want ethically harvested usa sourced aluminum, then $100/pair from spidertrax. I have those two here still. 1.5”.

So this just happened. Less than an hour from my work. Last time @southerncruiser62 was at the house checking out the truck he mentioned that he thought it may have been one of the Bushwhacker editions since it was orange. Fast forward to this week, I did a CL search for a friend thinking about a camper shell for his Tundra and this popped up in Saxapahaw and I had to have it LOL. Will post pics of it on the truck when I get it on.

And now the bushwhacker has brakes after an MC install and bleeding session with help from steves new helper LOL. Thats one cool cat. Hung out on my back at 2am watching the axle rebuild get buttoned up.

That is the coolest camper shell ever! What exactly was a bushwhacker edition?

Anderson, if I’m being totally honest I’m not 100 percent sure but it was the camper shell, some matching graphics on the truck as well and I believe they were either orange or yellow only. I could be wrong on that though. Mine being orange was what led @southerncruiser62 to initially being it up to me. There’s not a lot of info out there in them, maybe someone else will chime in.
