We had the cat on our Prius stolen. Ended up getting this for $160

Catalytic Converter Shield | 2004-2009 Toyota Prius (CAT-SCR-2) | Cat Security™ - https://www.getcatsecurity.com/p-catalytic-converter-shield-2004-2009-toyota-prius-catscr2

It isn't structural at all, but hopefully it is enough of a deterrent they will move on to another car. Pretty thin using 14 gauge aluminum.

Interesting enough, they make them for a bunch of different Toyotas.... just not the Land Cruiser. Their Sequoia, FJ, and Tundra are a lot more expensive at $399.

Side note, on our Prius we paid the $250 insurance deductible and they treated it very similar to getting a windshield replaced. They ended up paying out $2,900 to the shop and it took 6 weeks for the replacement due to shortages. Colorado emissions requires OEM or CARB compliant cats.

For the Land Cruiser I got the full ASFIR setup. Got it at a good price for $854 total including shipping when they had a 15% off sale and 50% off shipping.

Good PSA for both Cat and Windshield replacement: lowering your comprehensive deductible to a low number (like $250) usually only increases your bill by a few dollars.
