ARB Sahara bar on an 98 LX (1 Viewer)

Hey guys Im in the middle of installing an ARB Sahara bar on my 98 LX470. There is a piece of trim, under the grill and headlights, in the way when I'm trying top slide the bumper on the winch cradle.

The directions aren't helpful and I haven't heard back From ARB USA. Anybody know the work around? Do I need to cut this piece? Thanks in advance.

Mine is installed snugly against it. Others choose to cut the trim/ sheet metal...

Thanks. I'm guessing Land Cruisers don't have this piece. For as much as these cost, Seems like it would be noted somewhere from ARB.

That's correct... only on the LX

When Bolting it on, Did you use the 1st set of square holes or the second.

Yeah, the LC just has two maybe 8" tabs under each headlight, not a piece along the whole trim.
