Well, I installed my new ARB Sahara Bar and Slee Rear bumper last night. Wife cant seem to find the digital camera so I took some pictures in the parking garage at work with my phone. My cruiser is actually gray, not the color that is shown in the pictures.

My Ramsey winch would not fit, due to the built in solenoid, but I'm getting a Warn 9500 in the next few weeks to replace it:bounce:. I have not adjusted my torsion bars on my OME Heavy set up but will need to soon. I only noticed 1/8" drop in front and a little less than 1/4" inch in the back. I will be removing my rear jump seats soon so that may help, but I'm considering trim packers for the back.

I hope to get some better shots soon for you guys, but wanted to share. Next step is adding my sliders. Should have them on in the next day or so!

Nice job! Looks awesome.

I wish I could find a parking garage my trucks could fit in...

Love the front - makes those 285's look huge. Perhaps its the phone camera or angle, but I still love it.

Wondering if that Chrome tube can be painted with a "no skid" type material in a rattle can - I am going to look into that (not the Black/White, but just Black) - I still love the Sahara bar over all the others.

What did you do with your fog lights, Just unplug them? - I sure wish the Sahara was designed so they fit.
Time to update the sig with your added mods!

Looking good! I really need to convince the :princess: I "need" a Slee rear bumper before the price goes back up. Increased family safety??? That may be the ticket!

I had to go through the same thing with my wife. I just used what she uses on me all the time..."Honey, its on sale and who knows if it will ever go on sale again!" Didnt think it would work, but it did.

Thank you BMWSTOY I love how it looks as well. Really have not had much time to look at it. Got to bed at 1:00 am from the garage, then had to be at work at 7:30 am this morning and I didnt even get to leave the office for lunch. Ha..

As for the Fog Lights all I did was unplug them and zip tie the wires up and out of the way. I'm sure some day I will put in those fog lights that go into the ARB. I'm going to look into other options though. That much money for little lights is a joke I think.

Looks good Zane. Now I need to get off my ass and put some pics of mine up...

Hey ZZ - are those Hella 4000's? (Your sig line says 5000..?) I can't find they even make a 5000 series...

I ask because my Sahara bar (and rear ARB) are going out to powder coat next week, including the chrome hoop, and I want to know if I buy Hella 4000's if they'll fit.

Those Hella's look great, as well as the rest of the front facia (back, too).

Nice job!

Yes, you are correct. I updated my sig today and it looks like I made a typo, yes they are Hella Rally 4000 Euro Beam's. I have had them for over 6 years now, just keep passing them from rig to rig..

Hey Fish, you need to post up pics of the Chrome hoop painted asap as many in here are very interested in the look and the options there. OK, its me, I want to see.

will do - stopped at a local shop yesterday to investigate a stock powder color vs. a color match. Man, this guy probably had 500 "stock" colors. My 100 is Sanora Gold and I had about 4 shades to choose from - 1 of which we felt was REALLY close so we're going with that instead of shipping off samples and requesting a direct match. That would have been an extra $250 and 3+ weeks - no good. The stock match in some light looked EXACTLY on, in other light it looks just a slight shade off but we realize that with the Sanora Gold color we saw that type of shade difference/changing on the actual body itself as you moved your view point around body lines and such.

Taking in next week for sure. He is doing the front Sahara and chrome loop (he says the chrome scuffs up nicely with a grinder!!) and the rear ARB (no tire holder). Not exactly sure on price, depends on if I want the sub winch frame on the front done (in black) with a second coat. The ARB stock powder is decent, but it's already chipped in a few spots... the last thing I want is a Warn M12000 pulling from a rusty (weakend) frame....

More to come - a LOT MORE to come...

You also might be thinking - "hmmm, I wonder how a Sahara bar might look with OUT the hoop." We'll, you'll soon know.. While picking up my bar direct from ARB USA 9 miles from my house (pretty killer experience, details later) they gave me the special Dubai front "bumperette's" that have NO HOOP hole cut in them - these are specially made for Dubai where hoops are illegal (or something like that)

I took some updated photo's this morning and figured I would post them up. A bit better than my camera phone photo's above. I have now adjusted the torsion bars back to pre-bumper addition height.

Very nice, had to say again. I know its hard to modify and be different on limited choices - but I think you have still done very well Zane. Sweet looking rig and the slidders look great.
Still can not believe those are the same tires as whats on mine - way different look with the lift and the rake on the ARB bumber - really changes the view. Only wish I had the funds to copy-cat.

Say, did you paint your Gold Cruiser Gray???? just kidding.

That is a great and functional set up. How did the additional weight affect ride quality?

Thanks BMWSTOY! I'm very happy with it!

I noticed a tiny bit of a difference, but it was minimal. The truck just felt heavier, but that could have been my imagination... After the first 10 min. of driving it for the first time I have not noticed it again it was so minimal. The Heavy OME set up is the way to go.
