Can anyone supply some decent pictures of the ARB Protection Steps and Side Rails? I'm curious how they tie into the front bumper, does the bolt on clamp end up tearing all the powdercoat off as the frame flexes over time? @cruiseroutfit How close is the side rail to the fender?
I happen to be out in the 100 tonight, I was jonesing to drive a Cruiser
Snap some pics but it has a two peice bracket that clamps on and then a thru-bolt that clamps them all. It would show wear underneath the clamp if removed but none from the outside when assembled.
Kings and Queens of the Cruisers! Thank you.
Looking for a shot of how close the bar is to the fender as well, can you stick a mop in there to wash the mud out?

Yes, but repeated hits will damage them. They are a good protection step, they are not for repeated hits in the rocks. Mine have taken some good hits and are still true fwiw.
Is ARB referring to Port installed body cladding flares? If so, would the difference be how much clearance to the fender they allow?
I am thinking with flare on a non-flare 100 would widen the bar width to the fender.
Maybe I'm reading ARB's description wrong?
Does that front 'G' Bracket that wraps around the front bar require you to just spread it open and then compress it and bolt it together?
What part number is on your unit? (Bitchin build by the way...)
Do these bolt to the slider in the same fashion? I have an Ironman Commercial Bullbar and Metaltech sliders....I'd love to fab up some of these for my LX. Not sure how to source the brackets though.

I have the same setup and would love to do that also. Seems like getting the angle right to clamp to the slider might be tricky, but sourcing the t-clamps seems easy enough.

I wonder what steel they use for the tubes? 3/16s? I like the idea of being able to "unbolt" them for my daily driving and bolt them on for the offroad stuff.
How much protection does that really offers? Is it like sliders for the fenders? Can it hold the weight of the vehicle if it was to lean against the fender bars?

I just happen to be fitting a set of bars to my 105 next week so can measure wall thickness and any anything else if wanted. I have added them because I am going to cape york for 6wks (google it) and don't want earth banks in creek crossings taking the guards (fender) out . Oh and the roos are mad ,they will run into the side of your vehicle.
