Hello wise ones.

got my bumper 2nd hand from private party. it was brand new with factory plastic wrap on it.

went to install it, peeled back the wrap only to find the wings on both sides severely bent causing them to bend inwards (see pics).

what’s the most cost effective way to straighten out the wings?

what kind of shop would be able to fix it? (Frame puller, fab shop

steel is about 3.5mm thick.

Ouch! A frame shop may be able to pull it out for you. A commercial truck shop would also be a possibility. I see them straighten out all sorts of heavy gauge metal - drivers are hard on company trucks.

It will likely require heat to get that crease out of there, so you'll need to repaint/recoat the bumper afterwards.

thanks for your input. Problem solved with a bottle jack and 2 x 4
