I knew to mount the ARB CKMA12 compressor under the hood, the washer bottle would have to be moved. I decided to buy Slee's washer bottle relocation kit. It's supposed to arrive this week, but I didn't feel like waiting to start on this.

I'd been following up the details of mounting a 2nd battery, but for the moment, I don't have much desire to add a 2nd battery. I was keeping my eyes out for a tray though.

Washer bottle relocation kit + spare battery tray, without a battery in it = compressor mount location.

Yes, i could have mounted the compressor right onto the fender, but with the tray installed, the compressor has a nice "flat" surface, and fits easily in there.

Next up was mounting the switch/switches.

I'd been eyeing the position to the left of the dash to put all 3 switches, as the Air Lockers will be coming soon. The trim piece was jacked up, so I pulled it off. Anyway, it's all wired up and everything works great.

When I grab the front and rear switch covers, I'll finish trimming up the 2 switches and mount them more flush.

The only hiccup was getting the 2nd tray into the original mounting holes correctly. I had to trim a part of it over by the radiator (pretty much the whole vertical end of it), and then I also had to slot the 2 lower holes about 1/4 inch or so.

CycloSteve is absolutely right. I did the same thing and it is nice to have the look of factory with the confidence of locking at any time.

Now if I can just get the confidence of not getting oil pumped up from the diffs.
