Apron emblem retainer clips, affordable alternative?? (1 Viewer)

So, I need the eight little plastic dohickies that hold the apron emblems on the apron. The emblems I have are in good shape, just buggered up those little black plastic clips taking them off the apron. So, I go to SOR and they have them, for $10 each...that's right $80 for all eight clips.

There has to be a better way here, anyone use the metal clips from prior years; do these work? they're way cheaper. or perhaps another more reasonably priced method?

My ‘75 had skinny metal posts that broke off. I used double sided 3M tape to attach mine.

same here; SOR is out of the emblem retainers ; thought about the 3 m tape also; but these came up when I did a search; mine have the 1/8 inch studs
