It was great to meet you Dan and see your 'Faux-Lux'.
Jon, thanks for hosting. Sorry I had to head out a little early but the kids were spiraling out of control and it was just a matter of time before someone got hurt or something got broken.
Great to meet you and check out your turbo diesel pickup. I love checking out the Toyota diesel stuff, but I get disappointed that we can't buy it "already assembled" here in the states. I admire your determination to put together a diesel Toyota all by yourself.
Next time, bring the HJ-45 - we want to see that one too!

Here's hoping the HJ drives by the end of the year! Dad was talking about starting to take his FJ-40 apart right away to get started on putting the 3B in it. I vote we don't take it apart until it's at least been wheeled a bit (you know--in case something gets dented or something), and that could easily postpone me starting to take the Hj apart in earnest...
I don't remember when you had picked to do the Puerco(??), but hopefully I can make it with either the faux-Lux, or Dad's FJ-40 (or both). Was it the weekend of April 19-20?
We looked under hoods, we ate food, we met for a few minutes, we went home. Next meeting is on the website. We need a host. There might be a CM shake-down run on this Sunday to the Puerco.
Is anyone up for a run in the Puerco on Sunday? I know there was some mild interest at the meeting. I could be talked into it if others want to go. Just putting out the feeler. We certainly wouldn't need to make it a full-day event. Anyone...anyone...Bueller...Bueller...
I'm a maybe. Still doing maintenance to get the Cruiser ready for Moab. But it would be nice to get out in the dirt, depending on how much I get done on Saturday.
