My driver's side OEM door speaker has started crapping out on me

Been searching for clean aftermarket options that either:

A) fits behind the factory grill

or

B) has clean looking grills that don't look like giant tarantulas

I've been out of the car audio game for quite some time, but have always liked Infinity's Kappa line :)

Anyhoo, is anyone here running these in their doors?

Are you using an after market amplifier/head unit? I would recommend doing so to get the best out of these.

I was running these in the front doors with an amplifier and Pioneer head unit. Sounded great, little to no distortion.

Yes and No

I have a Sony XAV-W1 (17w RMS/52w Max), but I plan on running them directly just as I have been with the OEM speakers :meh:

The part that has me worried (other than the fitment) is the fact that they're 2ohms

From what I've gathered, they did this in order to get more output from low powered HU's, but I'm not sure how well an HU rated a 4ohms will hold up to a 2ohm load :hmm:
