I was just wanting to see if anyone has added clearance, running lights front and back of roof rack. I have been playing with some I picked up at Auto Zone, and I have three ambers in front and three reds in back. Have been looking around on the internet for different types and even LED's. I found a three light bar for the middle and then one on each corner but have not gotten them yet. Here is a quick picture, hand held at 1 sec. but I think you will get the idea.

I thought about it awhile back. i found some awesome crystal clear markers on the net but I forgot to add it to favorites and can't find them anymore.:frown:

As much as I love cab lights I just can't figure out the point of them. That does look nice though.

OH, I don't know... I sometimes just come up with ideas to try when I can't find anything else to do with my Cruiser. It does add a little ambient light around the truck when in the complete darkness. I also like how the H2's have the markers or cab lights so that is what made me start thinking about trying it to see how it looked. I think that it looks incomplete with just the three so I might add two more in the middle to make five like all trucks with cab lifgts have. Growing up, I have always liked cab lights on pickups but I don't want to drill holes in my cab to install true cab lights so I just tried it on the rack.

To keep low flying aircraft from hitting you when you got the tall lifts going.

Cab lights are a DOT requirement if the width of the vehicle exceeds a specific measurement. The exat number escapes me but my boat trailer has the additional lights accross the back and dual wheel pickups have them so it must be in that basic area.

Go LED. Longer lasting smaller and the technology is getting better all the time.
The :princess: works at a lighting store and every time I go in I think about throwing some outdoor LED lighting on the cruiser. Dabmar makes some cool stuff, wired for 12v and weather resistant.:hillbilly:
