Thats going to be a tuffy to get since JDM didnt get them so aftermarket will be a good hunt for you

I was thinking I saw a thread with FRONT marker lights that can be added to the fender behind the front wheel, it was clear and it looked like the same light to me.

I suppose I could buy anything that was roughly the same size, and simply replace or fabricate a new rubber gasket for it. SHould be another interesting and lite core project for this block off ...
I did a search, but it's amazing how many threads are without pics now. I guess they predate members buying stars..

I've been searching too, trying to find you that thread ..... come to think of it, I wonder if it was something MOT had at one time.
On a side note, Saab 9000's have a side marker on the front fender similar in size to our Cruisers I think ...... and I KNOW I have seen them clear before, might be something to look at as well.

I've never taken them apart, or off the 80. I'll take a close look at the setup today, and carry a lense into the stores as I search....then I guess I'll need to get into the bling lockup for red bulbs.
Those are the last coloured lenses left, so they have to GO!!
I'll report back with my findings later....I'm coming off of nites, but refuse to sleep away a nice day, so I might crash when I get back in. So either today or tomorrow I'll get back.

Navid is running front fender side markers, me pop's installed them into his fenders. Navid said that he got them from mot in japan.

Is there an origin of the interest in clear tail lights side lights markers etc.?
Not my area of interest really but I am curious? Who started this shizzizzle?

What about finding out about the guy who made the clear ones for the ARBs ?

T- Someone on here was making clear lenses for the ARB bumper and they might be able to fab some up. I'll try to find out who it was.

It was Nakedman who made the clear lenses for the ARB. I got a set from him, very nice, the fit is perfect. I recently got a set of the clear front side markers from Mot, they look great and the buying and shipping process was a breeze thanks to Mot he is defiantly a pleasure to work with. I would also be interested in clear rear markers since everything else is clear on my truck also.

Okay let me clear this up lil T, The subject above is Anyone running clear side markers? There are 2 different type of clear light for the 80-Series :
1) Crystal Clear
2) Just regular clear.
Which one lol....

Hmmm.. but the front signal doesnt look like crystal clear from above pics..
or maybe im wrong? The Crystal just different lens and much brighter specially if you runnin LED bulbs 
Does anyone have pictures of clear or crystal lenses on a white LC or would it even look good? I know I'm not going to be buying any but just curious. If lenses ever do crack it could be a possiblity, but a little contrast is fine with me by keeping the stock lenses.
Also, has anyone used that VHT nightshade spray to tint their lenses a slightly smoke color?
