Anyone running 275/70/18 Ridge Grapplers?

How is the noise level for people who had those tires for a while. Is there a hum noise, if yes at what speed does the noise starts. etc? I have just installed Toyos AT3 and the noise is an issue. Everything else is perfect. I am still under 500 mile test drive so exploring other choices and potentially flipping them for something else.

Which size and tire were you running before the TOYO At3? For an E rated all terrain the AT3 is on the quiet side and a class leader in the AT tire segment. May be worth also looking into the Falcon wild peak A/T3W and the General Grabber ATX, for an E rated AT tire the ATX were nearly as quiet as a XL rated Michelin Defenders. AT tires will have more noticeable road noise especially after some miles in comparison to the stock rubbers.

This is new LC so replaced Dunlops with SL load 275/65r18 Toyos. On 2020 LC I had KO2 D load and definitely those were more quiet. I heard wild peaks get much noisier with time which is why I have excluded them. General definitely need to research As well never had Nitto so that is why I have jumped on this thread as well.

My experience with the RG is on a T100 and the XL rated tires were quiet but that’s relative to the truck being an overall louder and rougher experience then the 200. Hard to hear the tire noise over the engine and other rattles lol.

I don’t think you’ll find many here who feel that the XL TOYOS are loud and I would be hesitant to offer suggestions as my experience is primarily with E rated AT tires and I don’t mind the slightly elevated road noise.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned in my tire research is most reviewers say that “the tire is so quiet for having such an aggressive tread pattern”. Hard to avoid road noise with giant lugs and voids in a tire geared for off road use.

Bumping this thread for some more input--had been originally planning on 285/65's, but the extra height and noticeably lower price of the 275/70s seem like a winner (even sacrificing the ~1/2" width). I've gone back and forth on KO2's vs Ridge Grapplers because I've loved my current KO2's, but just feel like trying something new. A few comments on other threads mentioned the RGs were more quiet on the road too and it looks like weight is less than 1lb difference between similar sized KO2's and RG's. I know a lot of people have stated no rubbing, but I assume that is around town. What about once you take it off pavement and get a little flex in the suspension?
Quoting this since I think it got buried at the bottom of the first page

The RG is very quiet for a real AT. I have had many people in the vehicle since I got them and while they are not quiet like a car tire, they are very quiet for the class. I would pick them over the KO2 for every situation.
