I noticed my rear panhard is bent. I only have about 2" lift so not sure I need an adjustable panhard. I can get a used stock on pretty cheap locally. I was thinking of having it reinforced. I think I have seen some pictures of this but can't find any threads on it. Anyone do this? Good idea or waist of time?

I think the Slee ones (ajustable) are heavier sidewall than stock. - I did a weld-in adjuster from them for my old OME lift & let the bar go with those springs when I went to a 4" progressive heavy.

The new bar from them was substantially more heavy compared to the stock with the weld-in piece.

Seems from memory the front is solid round stock, at least from factory.

Im not sure of the outer diameter of the rear stock pan hard but it wouldn't be very hard to reinforce the stock one or just buy some similar diameter DOM and make a new one with the stock ends. I need to do this as well sometime soon so PM me if you decide you want to do it.

Probably backed into a shopping cart!

It is solid.. I cut one in half a couple months ago. Probably because it needs to maintain strength with the factory bends in place.

I've got a couple if you need one

I am not sure how i bent it. But i think it might of been when i was rear ended 2 years ago near Moab. I think maybe it pushed the spare tire into it. It is a very mild curve to it. The rear end totaled the other car and just scuffed the plastic corner cap of my bumper. But now i am thinking maybe as it went under the cruiser some it might have pushed the spare tire some. Drives fine but i can see a very shallow curve to it.

Curved/bent is not as strong as straight. I would repair or replace it. Could be straightened on a press, but still not as good as fresh.

Just bend it back and call it good until you really mess it up. i just bent my front one back with a half stick of DOM tubing by wedging it between crossmember and front panhard.....pretty easy peasy and im sure you can find a lever in the rear to make it happen if you have 10ft of something strong like 2" dom.

or if you find yourself rebending it- you could raise your mount and move bar out of the way a tad like so:

Raising the axle-mount is a great idea if you can ::ahem:: swing it
