I have spent 3 days in communication with the dealer gathering information. I am pretty confident after conversations, videos, pictures that I'd like to buy, but... there is no better way than looking at it in person. I did put down a deposit, but I'd rather lose the deposit than put 8k on a rig that costs me another 5 or 6 to get/keep running.
