Was removing the old sound deadener and noticed two plugs that weren’t being used on the car. One is under the front passenger seat and the other is under the center console. Any idea what these go to? 1989 FJ62.

The connector under the seat is for the water separator in diesel versions. The opening without a pin is for the factory cable lockers electrical switch in the rear diff.

The one close to the rear heater IS for the high/low rear heater fan speed.
You have the heater ,but not the switch ???

Thank you I’ll take a look. I have the heat control which I thought was hooked up and working but I’ll have to double check today. You’re talking about the black base cable correct?

The connector between your fingers mate's with the heaterswitch connector.

Center console. You should have 3 coin pockets and a heater switch.

Ohh that makes way more sense now. Just bought it a few months ago and there is a smittybuilt center console instead of the oem. Thank you so much for all of your help! Seriously don’t know what I’d do without help from people like yourself in this forum.
