I'm buying an 80 from Japan, with the whole Coronavirus thing, I'm considering getting some work done on the car in Japan and when the time is right ship it over and have it ready to go. Anyone know of any reputable vendors there?

I have used Dobinsons in the past and love their kits, not sure if they ship to Japan.
I see a lot of Rancho and King Springs and Shocks but no kits there. I might be looking in the wrong places.

Thanks,

Bad idea. Get the truck here and ship to reputable US Land Cruiser shop.
Really? I was able to find one in Japan for a low price.
No rust
Triple locked

Might still be a good time to cancel, but I love RHD cars. Big JDM fan.

No. I am recommending that you buy the truck in Japan but bring it here to the US for any work/modifications.
Ahhh, that makes sense!

Yea, I definitely think that would be a better idea.

You can use someone that is known to be trusted if you have the work done locally, and you'll have recourse if there are issues. Huge risk paying someone to work on it from across the world.
