I've got a guy who will sell me a 67 with no engine and no glass for $300. I've got an engine, but no glass. I also have no money, so I really can't afford to pay Samba for glass. I honestly can't afford $300 for the car, but Rhea has dreamed of one since I have known her and it would be a killer Christmas present. Pretty good deal if I can make it work. Haven't looked at it yet.

do you have a 1200 or a 1600??

don't remember what came in those cars in 67.

i think i told you that when i was just getting old enough to drive i bought a 71 van and my mom had a 71 beetle at the time.

i learned the ins and outs of those sweet little vehicles.

i always wanted a Ghia!!

Oh Yeah!.......post up some pics if you have them!

I have a Porsche engine I was going to drop in it, but I decided to pass...common sense got the better of me. Too much going in my life right now for another project like this. But brother, it seems like a good deal if you always wanted one. He told me I could have it for $300 1967 vw karman ghia parts or restore. I have glass lined up for $400 I could get for you.

Didn't we all. Didn't we all.:grinpimp:

I still have my first car-1965 Ford Mustang-I should take a picture and post it here.

yes you should. Post it up; sounds awesome. I got rid of my first long ago. Embarrassingly enough, it was a yellow 88, 2 door, S-10 blazer, lifted on 31s with KC daylighters on the top, a whip CB antenna off the back and two 10 inch subs in the trunk. Lets just hope i have come a long way since then.:bang::clap:
