Been reading threads about the OEM and Hygrade kits to rebuild the Aisin carb. Was looking online at O'Reilly's website, they offer a Walker carb rebuild kit, part #15829A for $37. Appears to have everything except maybe the secondary diaphragm.

Anyone have any experience with this kit or company - or does anything stand out either way about the kit from those that may know what they're looking for?

Thanks

Looks like it may be worth a shot. Cheaper on Amazon with mixed reviews. http://www.amazon.com/Walker-Products-15829A-Carburetor-Kit/dp/B0049YFAKS/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0WX2Y252FYW8DN01DK0K&dpID=41L2YE26TsL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_

Then you also have this one on there with secondary diaphragm: http://www.amazon.com/Standard-Motor-Products-791B-Carburetor/dp/B000C7XNMI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1PCV9NEVV070SRXF0Y8K&dpID=41iWXQme8TL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_

Seems like you really can't tell what is in each kit. Just pics. Only noticable difference is the secondary diaphragm

Apologize for the long links. Not sure how to shorten them on this iPad.

Highlight a word, then click the tiny chain link icon. Paste the link in the box. Just like on a normal computer.

The walker is not the best kit. I've used it. Hygrade is better. But really, if you want the best of all parts, you'd have to buy the hygrade and the Keyster and pick 'n choose. This is why I now recommend people just send the carb to Mark A. or Jim C. By the time you end up buying the right (good) parts for a rebuild, it costs you around $100. For a couple hundys more, you get the satisfaction of knowing it's been done right and tested as well as their experience of knowing what to do if something is fawked up (and recognizing when something is fubar'd) .

Just my .002 $ (zero interest rate).

None of the kits will come with the correct secondary diaphragm.

@Spike Strip good to hear about the Walker kit. I used a Keyster kit and a Toyota diaphragm when I did mine. Other than the occasional cut off when I hit an incline I don't have any issues. (So that was my fault, not the parts lol)

@Output Shaft I was using that link box, but highlighting a word on the iPad and then clicking the link icon does not work. When I highlighted the word a box popped up (Copy, Paste, More) that covers the link icon. Hopefully that makes sense. Computers are better for the forum anyway.
