Anyone have access to vehicle scales? (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking about re-springing my 80 with some of those new fancy dual rate coils that are flooding the market. In order to size them right it seems knowing the weights per corner, well I guess really front to back, is necessary. Does anyone have access to a set of pad scales capable of weighing an 80?

If you go to any land fill, or the larger recycling places they should have scales. Sometimes you have to go in first and tell them you want to get your weights front and back and a couple bucks later you're done.

I've been to the Lorton landfill and 66 transfer station and they just do full vehicle weight. Does the PWC dump have a front to back scale?

Find a short course race car shop. They will have some.

Why can’t you take a weight with just the front wheels on the scale and again with the back wheels? Or, total vehicle weight minus the weight of one set of wheels?

I think the race team has scales. I'll have to see if I can borrow them. There's also the trick of using a bathroom scale and levers.
