I'm a new-ish FJ60 owner (have dreamed of owning one for a long time) and the previous owner had removed most of the A/C components. He kept a good number of the parts, but my guess is that the compressor went out and he didn't want to fix it so he pulled everything out and threw the compressor and condenser away.

I've done the research on compressors and condensers, have bought the SOR repair manual and have a good handle on how to get the system back together (crossing my fingers that the evaporator still works...).

I have a local shop who can rebuild the hoses, but the ONE part that I don't have is the A/C discharge hose that runs from the condenser to the compressor. From what I've read in the forums, you can't buy them aftermarket. (I did find a random Toyota parts supplier that allowed me to buy one for $70, which is worth a try, but I doubt they actually have one.)

Does anyone have a used/broken one that I could buy and get refreshed or use as a model to have the fittings fabricated?

It's part 88711 in the diagram below (the one the arrow is pointing to).

I definitely have it but I don’t want to give it up. I’d be happy tho to lend it out or take photos etc. I’m in CT. I removed mine a year plus ago but figure at some point I’ll add back in. Lmk.

Would you mind posting a photo? I'm going to round up the aftermarket parts and might take you up on borrowing it as a template for the local shop if they can build it (I'll ask them when I take my other hoses).

Sure. I’ll grab it out of my stash after work today… after 4pm eastern time.

I forgot man. I’ll go out later or tomorrow. I’m wiped. s***ty day and my heads been banging for all of it.

This is what I have. Your looking for the curved one?

Thank you SO MUCH! And sorry to hear it was a rough day at work.

Yup, the curved one is is it. That's the discharge - the one underneath that connects to the line that runs across the condenser connects to the receiver/drier and my drier had that connected. I'll round up the parts and let you know if I need to borrow it to have one made (I'll pay for shipping and everything).

Np, just lmk. I’ll wd40 it now to loosen the connection incase you do need it in hand. I have calipers so I can do some measuring too. We can talk via cell, I’ll pm my number to you if that would help.

FWIW it should be quite possible to get that hose made. I'm going through this right now, depending on the manifold/fitting on your compressor it should be a #8 female o-ring fitting (3/4"-16 threaded nut) on both ends. In my limited experience so far, if you can find an AC shop that will crimp hoses they may be able to supply fittings or you can order some online, and they'll just route and mark the hose and crimp it for you. No need to copy another as a pattern.
