hey GG, if you're going to off-road your rig, then the 12H-T with an auto or a 2H-T with a 5 speed or auto are your options. I don't like the touchy throttle or lack of deep low end grunt the 12H-T has for any kind of technical driving.


That's why it's taken me so long to reply... I've got the 12H-T bug again.

Hey UpsideDown, I would think you could overcome the low end grunt with some gearing in the diffs. I have a pair of 4.56's ready to go. The 12H-T would be in front of a 5 spd.

The problem I have with this head is that I don't really know what kind of shape it's in. Other than eyeballing it, which really doesn't tell me anything. #3 cylinder ring cracked. Not sure about pricing.
