I'm planning on going to pick up a 500+ pound smoker from Purcelville and the guy I'm buying it from doesn't think two of us can wheel it up the utility trailer ramp. I'm looking to see if someone has a hand winch that I can borrow for the weekend. I'd really not enjoy driving out there with a uhaul trailer in tow and not be able to bring it back.

Or if anyone has some advice for me I'm all ears. Thanks.

I've got a 1 ton chain fall you can borrow.

I've got a 4ton harbor freight come-a-long you can borrow.
You could also just use a ramp/sled and push it up slowly inch by inch.

The uhaul has a ramp. You able to meet up in Burke some time tomorrow or Friday? PM me if you can.

i have a 6 ton wyeth scott power puller i will gladly lend you. let me know if you want it. it is very powerful has a hook on each end, and would do the job easily with a little muscle. has about 20 feet of cable, but i have extensions if you need.

Prolly a little late but you could use your Hi Lift as a come along. I used mine to pull down a couple dead trees a few years back. Very exciting.

Yup...too late. Also, I really should get a high lift. :D

Oh yeah I like that. Maybe time to upgrade my Weber egg.

Now that's a manly machine.
