I'll probably get flamed for this question but I was just curious. My FJ40 has 4.10's, a 300hp 350, and a turbo 350. I'm curious to know what it'd run, haha.

Go find a radar speed trap and I'm sure the officer will answer your question for you.

i've thought about it, as we have a local 1/8th mile tract about 10 min from my house. but figured i better not. hey it may do well in braket racing where you just have to be consistent.

I drag raced a 4 runner I used to have. 35 inch tires, 5.29 gears and a stock 22r. Ran high 21's. I'll bet my cruiser would be about the same. Might have to try it sometime. My buddy wants to bring his 71 bronco with a supercharged 302 in it to the drags. Maybe I can line up with him and show the crowd what a 2f can or can't do.

Get a G-Tech Pro. You can pick one up on eBay for like $27.

I'd take mine down to Phoenix International Raceway, but they're still having to install the sundial used to post the 1/4 mile time of a 1992 FJ80....

I tested my '97 when I had it with a GTechPro, it claimed 0-60 was like 18 seconds I think, 1/4-mile was like 25 seconds or something, was *not* fast.. :D Also the lateral-G handling was not very good... :D

Actually I have run my 72 F on the 1/4
    stock motor w points.
    A Isky regrind cam
holley carb with a header and 2.5" exhaust
4.11 gears, 3 speed tranny and 31" tires

    21.5 seconds,

    And I won..
    twice ;)

I am really tempted to run the turbo 40. But I think they would nto like it if I showed up with the swampers.

Thats a big ten-4....29.9 seconds with high test no spare, 35lbs in tires and broken A/C. Wonder what it will do it I remove the exhaust?
