I don't know that the problems with the 700R4 are much different than a T-350....the 700R4 does require a bit more build up work tho for durability. Cooling will be a big issue, always is with smallblocks and especially with automatics.

right you are, and you put more strain on the cooling system with the lockup convertor. I've also heard those trannys are good for car BBQ's......but have never witnessed it myself.........
